La Folie: Location, Accommodation and Season

Set in five acres of grounds, La Folie takes on a garden setting with a 2.5 acre lake. The grounds are surrounded by Poplar trees, Norweigan pines and Laurel trees. Set some 100 metres back from a very quiet road, it is accessed by a long driveway passing a large fishpond on the way. Local shops and bar are a mere two minute drive away and a supermarket is located eight kilometres down the road.

Personal-Best-Angling.com will only permit a maximum of four anglers fishing at La Folie at any one time in each week. Night fishing is perfectly legal and nearly always undertaken. The season runs from the first week in March to the last week in November. Christmas and New Year week are also available. We wish to point out that as this venue is always oversubscribed it is advisable to book between two to three years into the future for weeks between 1st May and 30th October. Outside this period it may be possible to fit you in please see booking chart. All persons having been to La Folie outside of the main booking season will be given preferential future week bookings if they require.
